Contemporary Classical and Vernacular Architecture
Exhibition
Mon, Nov 9–Sun, Nov 29
Campbell Corner Gallery

The Classical Architecture Society at the University of Virginia presents an immersive exhibition exploring classical and vernacular architecture as living traditions through the work of leading contemporary practitioners, including several School of Architecture alumni. Transforming the Campbell Hall Corner Gallery into a traditional country house sitting room with antiques, textiles, decorative arts, books, and drawings and photographs of contemporary work, the exhibition invites visitors to experience the enduring relationship between architecture, craftsmanship, and the domestic interior. The exhibition design is by renowned interior designer Charlotte Moss, whose vision transforms the gallery into a richly composed interior that complements the architectural work on display.
